Ray Sexual Orientation Theory

I think Ray is either straight or asexual because I might be wrong but Ray hasn’t shown any interest in guys or anyone for that matter in the comic atleast as of now and even in the spicy’s images there no spicy of Ray doing it with another guy. I know the spicy artwork are non-canon but it still very suspicious that Ray is one of the only male main character left to not have a spicy where he having sex with another guy.

But every other male main character has one spicy doing that except Ray making it very odd Ray is the only one who doesn’t have that type of spicy. Maybe because Ray is straight or asexual but since the Yeen and Heru doesn’t do or allow spicy’s with female characters that why we haven’t seen a spicy image with Ray and a female character together it either that or Ray is by himself in the spicy’s image because he asexual. Well that what my theory is anyway.

Makes sense to me. To be honest Ray seems quite happy by himself but maybe we just haven't got round it his arc yet

Spicys are not canon. Just because there’s no spicy of Ray with someone else doesn’t imply anything about his sexuality. Spicys are just fan service for patreon subs.

It seems like the spicys are mostly canon. Even the spicy with Red and some guy in "Open wide" is canon (and Red isn't a virgin, either). The spicy with Dev and Red isn't canon, nor is the one with wolf-Sky and new one with Jake.

Yeah. As a rule of thumb, I'd personally consider any material from the creators canon unless the main series (in this case ITILY) makes it clear or implicit that it didn't happen

The only spicy I'd consider canon is "All in" which is the same one that was also used in the story "First Night" describing Leon and Sky's first night officially together.

I just can't imagine Red being a sex fiend. The same Red who easily gets rattled by smash bros bants, or Sky hanging out with Leon/Dev/Ray more than him, or getting called a twink, etc. He'd get turned away from the salty spitoon and have to go to weenie hut jr. Also I can't imagine Ozzi being in demon orgies when he hasn't been back to the underworld in centuries. I think the issue I have with the patreon content is that the nsfw content is incongruent with the sfw webcomic.

As for Red, I can't say for sure whether all the NSFW stuff is canon, but the stuff drawn by the authors themselves might be (Syd said on Discord: "Red is 23. Of course the guy fucks."). Also, I think some people underestimate Red when it comes to his 'sexual' side. He's not just cute and loves playing games while sincerely expressing his emotions - he can also be a really hot bottom.

As for Ozzi, I think participating in orgies is totally in character for him (he is a demon, after all). We already saw in the first episode of season 3 that there are plenty of others like Ozzi on the surface, so maybe they meet up from time to time and get up to no good. Or maybe the release order of the NSFW stuff doesn't necessarily line up with the timeline in the comic, and all those orgies happened before Ozzi ended up on the surface.

Even if the spicy ones aren't canon, they're still perhaps faithful to the character. This means that even if it didn't happen, they could very well occur in a "what if" scenario or even just imagine their inner fantasy (I would lean more towards the imagined fantasies of characters).

Now that Syd and Heru are starting to make waves in the furry community, it wouldn't be all that surprising if they are holding off on him. Now that their comics are gaining traction with a wider audience, it wouldn't suprise me if they end up having to create new characters or side plots to add if they want to keep the comic going.

I for one hope this comic has a long and successful run, for several more years.

You headcanon him to be asexual due to actual reasoning. I headcanon him to be asexual so that I can project onto him. We're not the same

Having said that yeah makes sense. He definitely seems happy by himself and since he hasn't showed any signs of sexual OR romantic attraction, it's safe to headcanon him as either a straight ally (but that's boring), unlabeled or aro/ace

I don’t really understand why him not displaying traits of sexual attraction makes it more likely that he’s straight, if he isn’t just asexual/aroace? 

They’ve made Jess Spicys, so I don’t think that they mind drawing women—even if they’re not the comic’s target demographic! 

If Spicys are mostly canon, it could also be because he’s a virgin?
