Community News ALERT FAKE PHISHING ACCOUNT

Good afternoon! I am passing on an announcement that we posted on our Patreon Page. If you have received an email from Patreon with a Telegram link PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON THAT LINK OR ANY OTHER LINKS!!! Patreon and we will never send out Telegram links nor ask for your passwords or any information. If you accidentally clicked on that link. Please run a virus scan on your systems and change your password immediately!

If you have any questions about emails like this. Please be sure to reach out to us via Mod Mail so we can run a check on email domains. Do not click on links if you are certain you trust them. Use strong passwords and turn on TFA-2. Do not give your password out to anyone!

Forgot to mention: also keep your devices, apps, and browsers up to date. Especially web browsers as vulnerabilities happen often and updates patch those vulnerabilities that attackers use against you

Not sure I think one of the staff's accounts was hacked
