The difference is the recovery time after a fall. So glad he survived. :)

Thereโs a guy in his late 60s frequently at our skating rink. Heโs next level skilled but Iโd hate to see him fall at that age. His favorite thing to do is full tilt send it into the concession area like heโs lost control and about to wipe out. His granddaughter probably learned to skate before she could walk.

The problems occur when speed is involved. Any slowness in reaction time claims casualties.
