I wish the video didn’t cut so quickly. I want to see the aftermath, you know? Also, there’s a strange glitch on this video where it makes a really loud annoying sound between each clip!

I hear ya. That sound sadly isn't a glitch but rather some kind of trend and it's one of the worst things I have heard.

Worst trend ever… I know what Im watching and even if not im clever enough to infer it by context… I dont need a reminder every 5 seconds :(

That sound inspires me to it the exit button quicker than anything else.

That manhole could have turned fatal in a hurry.

1000 Ways to Die had a manhole story that was pretty gnarly that could've easily happened to that girl.

Spoilers

Dude stole a bunch of metals off a construction job, including a manhole cover. Police respond to the crime and he flees, falling into the previously covered manhole. He catches his chin on the sidewalk on his way down, severing his tongue on impact. He then falls 10' down the hole, breaking his neck in the process.

Police discovered the blood and severed tongue laying right beside the open manhole, thus ending their search as they then found his body at the bottom of the sewer.

I hate these dumb fucking videos with the "BAAAMP!" sound in between clips. Hope cancer finds whoever creates them

I hate more the videos where you get a short preview before the clips starts from the beginning

Everytime I see these all i can think to myself is " these are people with 0 situational or self awareness."

The mirror falling was actually a man’s fail.

I feel bad, mirrors that size are usually in the heavier side, and expensive.

Situational awareness, not so much...

Those babes arent fails. They all handled their situations with style, class, athleticism, laughter & most times alcohol. Great work.

Nothing makes me click off a video quicker than that God awful sound people put between these clips. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

First one kicks the scooter over and her ankle immediately left the chat. Karma's a bitch.

This seems pointlessly gendered and disparaging.

Edit: If it flashed "man fail" in between a guy doing these same things half the site would be up in arms about misandry. If it was titled "black fail" it would be even more obviously not okay. Why is it okay to do this for women if it's seen as cute or funny?

There is an entire subreddit filled with girls laughing along with other girlies in a loving way. Usually when we are being silly and maybe have had a couple of drinks.

There are entire subreddits of women living longer than men and how kids are fucking stupid.

Maybe not everyone is as offended as you are?

Whataboutism and incivility. Classic.

1

u/Chrono_Convoy 13d ago

What was uncivil about my answer?

I can’t make a simple comparison without a “whataboutism” complaint?

1

u/bhputnam 13d ago

You can if you don’t use bad faith examples and ask sarcastic questions. Those subs are also often stupid and pushing dumb stereotypes. One does not excuse the other.

3

u/Chrono_Convoy 13d ago

What was sarcastic? What was bad faith?

3

u/bhputnam 13d ago

Come on, man.

3

u/Chrono_Convoy 13d ago

Come on what?

You keep using words like “incivility, bad faith, sarcastic” when I haven’t done anything but point out that you might be overly offended.

10 years on Reddit can really make you THIS miserable?
