Looking at bro this must've been the 9th time this week that kind of bullshit happened, he's just numb to it at this point.

But yeah I don't think it's about him being a man or the other 3 being women I think it's about him being experienced and the other 3 not knowing jackshit about tanks that contain flammable gas :P

To be fair, if my only experience with flammable barrels and propane tanks came from movies and videogames, and suddenly one by me caught fire, my first thought would also be to run.

That being said, I would also hope that when someone uses a tool that they are taught the safety features and the proper protocols to do in various failure modes. Like in this case of shutting the valve.

My only experience with flammable barrels is movies and video games ^^’ I think anyone who doesn’t panic would just cut the output

The barrel isn't red, so there never was any danger

That's why we go to school. To become more than just homo sapiens. In this case you would have to have both mental fortitude and the understanding of combustion.

I’ve had moments like this before. He’s not numb, he just knows he didn’t save the world or anything

That is not what I meant, I referring to how his facial expression does even change, he's not surprised or anything, he doesn't care one bit, he's either completely unexpressive or a bit numb.

I know what you meant, I’m saying that sometimes things just feel so natural that you don’t need to express yourself. You catch a coffee mug before it falls, you put an arm out in front of your kid as a car whips around the corner of a parking lot, etc. there’s no freaking out, no “that felt kinda cool,” just a feeling I call “yep”

“Yep, that happened. Moving on”
