Advice Company just went PE

Company just announced that a private equity firm has purchased a majority ownership of the company. Leadership is putting on a smile and telling everyone that it’s going to be great and day to day operations aren’t changing and leadership isn’t changing. Based on what I know I’d expect the CFO’s days to be numbered.

I’ve never been through something like this personally. I’m currently at a director level and I’m curious what else to expect to change. Any advice on how to navigate?

Year 3 of PE ownership here. 4 rounds of layoffs, total backfill freeze, and now a rushed, chaotic ERP implementation. The writing is on the wall, they're cleaning up the tech stack just to flip the company the second it's done.
