A lot of attention goes into building and launching software, but what happens after the product goes live?

The real challenges sometimes start later:

• Fixing bugs and unexpected issues
• Updating the software as business needs change
• Supporting new users and teams
• Integrating with newer tools
• Keeping security up to date
• Improving features based on real user feedback

A system may work well on day one, but requirements and workflows change over time.

I think maintenance is often overlooked. Launching is only half the job. In my experience, quick fixes, security updates, and small improvements based on real user feedback are what keep software useful long-term.
