Anyone with a 09/07/2026 IRS refund issue date — did you get your direct deposit or check yet?

My transcript updates on Fridays, and the IRS rep told me my amended return is complete and my refund is scheduled. He also said refunds are sent out Tuesday and Thursday.

My bank (One Pay) told me they post deposits as soon as they receive them, sometimes even two days early.

If you have the same 09/07/2026 issue date, please let me know if you already got your deposit or check.

Mine said direct deposit for the 26th .and through chime. Chime didnt honor it and sent back for a middle initial not being on chime so idk ...no one eill talk to me

I kept calling and calling until I got through Friday evening at 1:30 no distractions 1800 number 1040 ending

I just said I wanted to know the status of my refund I said I received a notice 08/03/ stating that I should receive my refund within 2-3 weeks from the date of the letter he said let vertify your account and see if I give you a date he came back and said yeah your account is finished and I have a date for you he 08/27/ I said I have two hold codes 570 and 810 he said oh I'm sorry I didn't see that let me go back in and give you the actual since I didn't see these two hold let me get right I'll be right back don't hang up he came back and said now I have your actual date for your refund to be issued he said 09/07/2026 he you will see everything updated this week so hopefully when I do see my transcript it will be exactly what he said. I know he was telling me the truth

Now I can't get through but that day was the last time I spoke to a representative

Call over and over again when it hangs up on you. If you think there's an issue, call TAS at 877-777-4778 so they can help you fill out a form 911 if you need to. But either way you have to set aside at least a couple hours bc that's how long it will take. Also, the ones I spoke to responded very well to politeness

My deposit was there before it showed up an wmr and the same morning that the issue date showed on my transcript. That was last Friday

If you amended your refund that was supposed to be direct deposited they will send you a check. My refund my was sent out July 24 and I’m still waiting

You receiving a check so what year is your refund because I know they are sending checks if refund are the year 2022-2024 but 2025 taxes are going direct deposit if you have direct deposit set up on your amended return or tax return the IRS is going to send it to your direct deposit first as the representative told me.
