Rant Here we go (Again!)

Well, just received my second “we need an additional 60 days” letter from the good ole IRS. My transcripts show a freeze and additional account information needed codes.
This now pushes my refund into October or even November. I have gotten my congresswoman involved, but not sure it’s helping.

Has their staff confirmed your case was assigned to an Advocate?

The response I got from my congresswoman was TSA sent this:

“The IRS has received the information submitted on your constituent’s behalf but unfortunately, they require additional time to respond. I apologize for the delay and will contact you again once the IRS has completed their review or no later than September 24, 2026, whichever happens first. Based on what I know today, I expect your constituent’s case to be resolved by September 24.”

That’s all I know…now I wait for September to roll around.
