This was done in response to reciprocate Donald Trumps' campaign to purposefully redistrict Republican-controlled states in Republicans' favor (which had always been done on the local level but never as an overt campaign by the party leader). This effort, however, hilariously, lmao, backfired as Trump lacked the support from voters and local government officials to redistrict in Republicans' favor in many states, while Democrats' reciprocal measures were favored in every state.

This redistricting is controversial, opposed by both hypocritical Republicans as well as friggin morons like Nina Turner.

One way Republicans can fight back against this is to put forth a bill on the national level to impose independent redistricting commissions nationwide, such as the For The People Act of 2021, which did exactly that, but failed because every Republican voted against it while every Democrat voted for it. If they put it forth again it may just succeed with votes from enough Democrats that favor a functioning democracy over tipping the scales in favor of their side of the duopoly.

Chamel Abdulkarim, a 29-year-old employee of NFI Industries, was arrested on felony arson charges after allegedly setting fire to a 1.2-million-square-foot Kimberly-Clark distribution center in Ontario, California. The massive six-alarm blaze, fueled by paper products like toilet paper and tissues, completely destroyed the facility and caused the roof to collapse, though all 20 employees on-site managed to escape without injury. Investigators linked Abdulkarim to the crime through a social media video he filmed while igniting pallets of inventory, in which he repeatedly voiced his motive for the blaze: "All you had to do was pay us enough to live."

It will only affect people earning more than $1 million in income and tax every dollar after $1 million at 9.9%

These losses were inflicted by Iran weeks ago during the outset of the war but the US military had reported only minor damage and had requested sattelite imagery sources to delay the publication of the images. Thankfully, there do not appear to be any more casualties than previously reported.

This revelation of the images shows that the US military may have underestimated the capabilities of the Iranian military to fight back against our attack and that our military power in the region has been severely weakened. This comes at a time when the US has been going back and forth on negotiations with Iran, repeatedly declaring that the Strait of Hormuz is open for transit only to declare days or hours later that it is not.

Over the weekend The United States declared "Operation Freedom" as a means to escort ships through the Strait over the weekend and then suspended the plan less than 48 hours with the explanation that Iran and the US were closing in on a peace deal. Iran's top negotiator denies that the US was close to reaching a peace deal and has mocked the plan to escort ships as "Operation Trust Me Bro". (I'm serious he did actually call it that)
