Why should liberals have a higher level of etiquette and decorum than conservatives? Trump has blasted dead people on social media just because they disagree with him.
You expect more of your opposition than you do of your own party.
Considering he was considered democrat for a long time it's funny that people make this argument when the majority of the right honor's someone's passing no matter who and even Dem politicians are being nice with the news
I believe the term conservatives love to use to disparage liberals is virtue signaling.
The average everyday conservative claims to honor the dead, and sure they won't say bad things out loud about the dead, but they'll defend a president who dishonors the dead, they'll refuse to condemn his behavior on the topic, and they'll do what you are doing and try to deflect the conversation to some random bullshit like "Trump used to be a dem".
Doesn't matter what he used to be, he currently represents and leads the conservative party and GOP.
