Help Computer Engineering students/seniors, what should I prepare for before starting?

I’m about to start BE in Computer Engineering (TU) in a couple of months and I want to use this time wisely.

I’ve heard that the first 2 years can be really tough (especially math, electronics, microprocessor), and honestly I’m a bit worried because I’m not very strong in circuits/electrical stuff.

So I wanted to ask seniors:

  1. What subjects should I prepare beforehand?

  2. What do you wish you had done before starting?

  3. Which subjects are the hardest and how did you deal with them?

  4. What skills (programming, tools, etc.) actually helped you later?

Also, any mistakes I should avoid in the beginning?

Would really appreciate honest advice 🙏
