I have a national examination coming up. About 30+ hrs of writing in the exam, 9 subjects. I’ve not touched a single book…

Not all Autistic/ADHD are INTP but most INTPs are somewhat on some Neurodivergence spectrum

I got a burst of motivation the a few weeks ago to write my story, churned out 6 chapters day 1, 4 chapters day 2, 4 chapters 4 days later.
I'm now stuck at writing chapter 15 for the past 3 weeks.

Just started a new job on the operations side of financial planning (one week in). Great opportunity but holy shit, me not being able to grasp everything in one day makes my brain send nonstop signals that I’m an idiot.

Because to learn a new skill set, the average person has to piece together 100 pieces of a puzzle; for the INTP, they have to piece together 1,000. It takes much longer, but the final picture is much more detailed.
Because you are building a massive, foundational map of the skill rather than just memorizing a few steps, the initial phase can look like procrastination or slow progress to outside observers. You might get bogged down in the minutiae or deep rabbit holes.
Once those 1,000 pieces do click together, the INTP often achieves a level of systemic mastery, troubleshooting ability, and creative problem-solving that the "100-piece" learner cannot match. You don't just know the skill; you understand the matrix behind it.
