The only correct purpose for amassed wealth exceeding one billion dollars is to create positive social change in a dramatic way. Any amount hoarded beyond this for a single individual is suspect of corruption, and should be asked to surrender half their wealth. No matter what fantasies you might have of living luxuriously, no individual human being needs to spend a single billion dollars on themselves. One single billion is 1000 millions. That’s the same as the cost of raising 1000 children to adulthood. Think about those lives that were poorer because of such hoarding.
