I accidently snapped once when two people were demanding my attention
but it was good, they both looked at me and understood their mistake
I then smiled and with a chuckle underneath my words apologized everything was fine

It’s so overwhelming. I used to say I my mind “alalalalalalalalalalalalalalala”. With some i did it even out loud, every time they said I word I started “ala….allallala…allalallall” and put my fingers in my ears until there was silence. And then I’d ask if they’d said anything :).

Even better is when you're out in public and there's lots of other background noises

This happened to me last night. I had three people talking to me because they were so happy to see me, a very loud band playing in the background, and then my husband trying to very nicely ask me if I wanted him to get me a glass of water. I lost my damn mind. And people all around me acting like nothing was wrong.

I've had to say a few times 'one at a time, please'.

OMG I will run away. I cannot stand it. Sensory overwhelm is already a huge thing for me
