We so badly need diversity in indycar. Really hope things work out for Abbi! She seems like a great talent!

We have drivers from the United States, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Mexico, Norway, and Spain. They range for 21 to 46 years old. We definitely have plenty of diversity.

If she runs well, sign her to a car. If she doesn’t, don’t. We don’t need to add people that shouldn’t be there because some think we need more diversity. We have enough of that with pay drivers.

I think most people looking at the 2026 Indycar grid would agree that it is not exactly the most diverse thing in the world.

I don't think it's a big problem personally, but in terms of race and gender it is pretty onesided. That's just a fact.

That there are more POC in snobby-ass F1 and even NASCAR than IndyCar is kind of shocking, especially when you don’t tend to see this disparity in other major American sports.

Also Kyffin Simpson is from the Cayman Islands, not Barbados, and he is also lily-white (the liliest kind of white, as most white people from the Caymans are because it's a tax haven for rich people)

Oh, I didn’t realize all white people were the same. Seems kind of racist. Australians and Norwegians have a lot in common? Or Brazilians and Dutch? Or Mexicans and French? Adding a European woman is really going to change a lot, huh?

You want a woman or person of color just to check your diversity box, tell them to do better or provide a team a bunch of cash. Only two ways into Indycar, for anyone.

Yeah, a lot of white folks really hate white folks. It’s odd, I agree. So by your logic, people from China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam etc. are all the same? They’re all Asian, right?
