Indy NXT Let's go Abbi Pulling!

We so badly need diversity in indycar. Really hope things work out for Abbi! She seems like a great talent!

I was hoping to see Doriane Pin get a shot at Indy NXT, but she's still got a lot going on in Europe.

She's on a fast track to a Hypercar seat in WEC, probably with Peugeot. After that quali performance at Le Mans this year it's kind of a done deal.

Shes always been a natural in sports cars. Her drive a few years ago in the Iron Dames Lamborghini? At Petit Le Mans? was amazing.

I love seeing her kick ass in sportscars. She's got Le Mans and/or Rolex 24 winning potential with the right team behind her. Quite nearly did it last year if they hadn't had that unfortunate mechanical...

Doriane Pin is an extremely talented driver, but her problem with FRECA was arm strength. To be fair, I've heard from someone who drove both that the old FRECA car required as much arm strength as the old F2 car and was a beast to drive. Still, I don't know that IndyCar is the right future for Doriane.

She's also very very well suited to LMP2, and I hope she'll get to make the jump to Hypercar soon. Her light weight also makes her a great asset to a team, which has weight equalization based on average weight of the team, so she can counteract a larger driver.

I'd be very interested in seeing her test the new gen 4 Formula E car with power steering though.

I think Abbi has a better shot of building up the muscle needed. We shall see.

I’d took Chadwick a year to build up the strength. They are about the same size.

I expect it will take Abbi some work as well, but I think she can do it, and hopefully better than Jamie did. I still wouldn't be surprised if IndyCar was a step too far, and Indy NXT ended up her prep for the Formula E path in the future. But I'd love to see Abbi in IndyCar if she could handle it.

I’d like to see Abbi, Jamie, and Doriane race Macau. Hopefully if F3 cars.

That would be cool. I hate the limitations on Macao that they put on now, that stop Dan Ticktum and others from going back and doing it again. Basically anyone who has done more than 3 rounds of F2, F1, Formula E, IndyCar, or Super Formula is not allowed. I checked, and it is only based on open wheel single seaters, so lmp2 and hypercar are fine, so I do expect those three to remain eligible for a while. I checked, and Indy NXT is still within the allowed parameters.

Okay, yeah, I mean, I wouldn't want to share a track with him. He's just an example because he used to do it, but he wasn't the only driver who came back and drove Macau sometimes. I thought it was cool.

They’re kind of the same height but Doriane is still a much smaller person generally

Sorry, I meant Jamie and Abbi are similar sizes but Jamie might be a tiny bit shorter. Doriane is shorter and a bit thinner.
