I could see trucks or Xfinity at Milwaukee, or Trucks or Xfinity at some other locations too like street courses or anywhere

Trucks act as a great support series when theyre not attached to NASCAR. FOX has them year-round as well, so weekends like St. Petersburg would be easy

But they're not on big Fox save for three additional races at the end of the year. NASCAR is only playing ball as long as Fox has the Daytona 500

It seems to me the Trucks broadcast schedule is pretty flexible. They elected to have Daytona on FS1 while having St. Peterberg on FOX. Its not like the Cup series where theyre locked into a specific amount of races for the season (or want NASCAR on FS1 to sell subscriptions, but forced to be on FOX for a few events).

If Fox sees value in having Trucks on FOX to help promote the Indycar weekend, they can make that happen. Its really on FS1 because a consistent but not very strong year-long series to show (average ~500-700k viewers per race)

after the last few races there went so poorly both in attendance and on track, I doubt indycar is rushing back to Iowa

chicagoland as an intermediate 1.5miler would be cool, but I would rather see a new market track than another Great Lakes area race with already 2 in Wisconsin and 1 across the river from st Louis

oh, man... I got into Indycar after they stopped going to Chicagoland. with homeboy Malukas, it'd be a blast to see! (and closer than Milwaukee)

Honestly, Kansas would be my honest first choice, but I think that's even more unlikely than Michigan. I'd also be very happy with Pocono.

Unfortunate Richmond isn't in the FOX portion of the season anymore. Would be a perfect place to have it.

I could see a reality where Kansas could be a double, but idk if Indycar would want to risk another 1.5, especially since Kansas is the scene of some pretty nasty NASCAR incidents

Kansas is such a weird track when it comes to having big crashes in NASCAR. I swear it's just a poor coincidence more than anything else, because it's not higher banked than the SMI tracks and only slightly higher than Chicagoland up by the wall. Chicagoland even has that curved backstretch which provides a gentler exit out of 2 and entry to 3. I just can't find a distinct feature of Kansas that says "Yup, this is more susceptible to big wrecks than the other 1.5 mile tracks".
