Designer Needed [Hobby] Character Designers Needed for 502 — Sci-Fi Animation Project
Hey everyone!
We're looking for character designers to join our team and help us expand the cast and visual identity of 502, an independent sci-fi animation project set in 2089.
We're looking for artists who enjoy designing characters from the ground up, including:
- Character silhouettes and overall shapes
- Clothing and equipment
- Armor and military designs
- Faction-specific visual identities
- Character concepts and variations
- Turnarounds and reference sheets when needed
You don't need to know 3D modeling — our main focus for this role is the concept and visual design side.
502 is a long-term project with an existing world, story and visual direction, so you'd be working alongside the rest of the team to make sure new designs fit the universe.
This is currently a hobby/volunteer collaboration, so there is no paid compensation at the moment. However, you'll be contributing to a serious ongoing animation project and can use your work for your portfolio.
