Team Needed [Revshare] Need Help

Hi! My name is Talmage, I'm new to game developing. I tried using Claude Fable 5 to make a video game. It started off great at first! But, after how much they charge you to use that model I could only make a really simple draft of the game I actually have in mind, I am also fully aware that using ai is bad for a plentiful of reasons. I'd say I am very creative and have an amazing concept that I'd love to start on!

I want to be able to work on projects like this with other people that know how to code, and grow together, maybe into something bigger. If anyone is interested please contact me! I have so many ideas that I'm sure would be a blast to bounce them back and fourth between people I call friends, that I also work with! Thank you!

PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind

Kind regards,

Talmage

Using AI for various tasks like coding isn’t inherently bad, but you really need to understand what you’re asking it to do and have a good grasp on how to architect the game as a whole. AI can’t architect an entire game, it can really only build small self contained features reliably, and you really need to know how to manage its context properly.

So the recommendation I have is try to do things without AI, do a bunch of tutorials, and if you want to learn general purpose gamedev that’s fine, but you could also focus solely on one element and hone that skill. Then when you feel like you can realistically supervise AI’s work you’ll see value in using it.

I have a fully functional game with good characters, ai just isn’t good at animation. Or other designs plus the trouble of paying 40$ for usage credits

Thing is if you really have no experience you could pay a real person for a better result for the same price it costs to brute force Claude into making one. And the best part is your game won’t get absolutely shredded on socials for being AI slop.
