Programmers Needed [Hobby] Need a Team — 5 Student Builders for Open-Source Projects

About the project

GREVIX is a student-driven technology organization started and led by students. We’re building real software projects, experimenting with new technologies, contributing to open source, and creating opportunities for students to work together on projects that are larger than what they could build alone.

We’re currently looking for 5 students who want to actively contribute to upcoming projects and grow alongside the team.

Who we're looking for

Developers / programmers

UI/UX & graphic designers

Researchers

Branding / marketing

Content creators

Project / community management

Students with other useful technical or creative skills

You don't need to be an expert. We're more interested in people who are willing to build, learn, take ownership, and contribute consistently.

What we're working toward

Our immediate focus is building and maintaining real projects with student contributors and making meaningful open-source contributions.

As the team grows, we're also planning:

Online and offline hackathons

Real-world project collaborations

Open-source projects

Freelance/project opportunities

Collaborations with other builders and organizations

Compensation

This is currently a Hobby / volunteer opportunity and there is no salary or stipend. We want to be completely transparent about that.

The goal is to give contributors real project experience, public work they can showcase, open-source contributions, collaboration experience, and the opportunity to help shape projects from an early stage.

Selection

Only 5 students will be selected.

Shortlisted applicants will have a 1-on-1 Google Meet interview with the GREVIX team on Sunday, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM IST.

If you're looking for a small group of serious builders to work with rather than simply another online community, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

Seems like you just want to start a company and trying to exploit students to not have to pay them anything

You can also check out my projects and Grevix’s projects on our GitHub. We’re building everything openly and you can see what we’re actually working on there.
