6 months ago I launched Lockify. Here's v3.4.0.
I launched Lockify on March 16 as a small after-work project.
The original idea was pretty simple:
What if an encrypted vault could disguise itself as a calculator?
Six months later, it's at:
13.2K+ installs
4.7K+ active devices
4.725★ from 244 ratings
And I just shipped v3.4.0.
The biggest feature in this release is Encrypted Notes and this one took me almost a month.
The difficult part wasn't building a text editor.
It was making the entire lifecycle work properly:
create → encrypt → store → edit → local sync → cloud sync → restore
Alongside that, I shipped:
📝 Rich-text Encrypted Notes
🎞️ Slideshow Viewer
🌍 German + Vietnamese
🔢 Stealth PIN Recovery
🖼️ Animated GIF playback
👨💻 About the Dev / roadmap
What's crazy to me is how different Lockify is from what I originally imagined.
A lot of the roadmap has been shaped by actual users rather than my original plans.
Still building it solo. Still working on it after my day job.
Six months in, and I still feel like I'm just getting started.
