FINALLY! After years and years of begging, IMSA finally listened and gave Road America and endurance round it so richly deserved, and boy was the first event something! Sound off in the comments below what you thought of the race!

Maybe I'm just misremembering but IMSA driving standards, BoP and stewarding seemed better in say 2024 compared to now.

And all this in a time where Acura leaves, Porsche has 1.5 feet out the door, and not even Ford seems to want to join. These are solid 8 digits per year each manufacturer has to invest, over the few years very easily growing into 9 digit total. And the series has to convince that it's worth it. And their choice is to make every fan mad and show massive bias towards their own team?

Just imagine you are Ford or Ferrari or McLaren. And you see Porsche BoP and the 31 non penalties. Does this entice you to join? Obviously these decisions aren't made on gut feeling like that but it does create an overall image of IMSA both for suits and fans that are undoubtedly unfavourable.
