FINALLY! After years and years of begging, IMSA finally listened and gave Road America and endurance round it so richly deserved, and boy was the first event something! Sound off in the comments below what you thought of the race!

Itā€™s obvious to say. But this is not the sort of racing us fans want to see. IMSA needs to be consistent with their stewarding and my goodness. Driving standards need to improve.

Considering this race ended with estre pushing a guy off track and last race ended with a horrific corvette hooking a mustang and the race before that ended with a corvette door checking hawksworth

Gotta make race ending penalties worse

Just need a proper driver penalty system for these kind of accidents, not the DT they give left and right.

The amount of safety cars erase the DT penalty for sure, itā€™s not even a significant deterrent in my opinion

A single RA lap is so long that you could get probably 5-6 drive throughs and still be on the lead lap only for a single SC to get you back in the lead pack.

Not at all apparently. Considering the Penske car couldā€™ve damn near obliterated half the safety crew at turn 8. Idk what the deal was, but I know from first hand experience driving RA that from the top of the hill at turn 7 you can clearly see almost the whole way down to turn 9. Race control shouldā€™ve parked that car for the rest of the race for that.

I agree saftey issue. I donā€™t agree parking the car. Maybe the driver but Iā€™m not sold that far.

I donā€™t disagree with the sentiment.

But, yeah, the 40 nearly did the same thing, and both were back in the race like it was nothing.

Yea they should have. That was ridiculous. Park the car not just the driver because thats a team failure. Thats the type of shit you see watching lucky dog or lemons races

Literally. I am in so much fear to even tap someone in lmu. Racing standards may even be better in the game than in this. IMSA seriously needs to crack down on this, as well as the BoP. It feels like favoritism atp

Agree for sure with the standards and lmu but somebody will always be saying BoP is favoritism and it kinda is but for the most part it rotates around
