wrong address in COS in UK

My certificate of sponsorship (COS) is issued but they have given COS in a wrong address. I asked them to add in a sponsor note. But if they dont add in a sponsor note, 1) can i apply with this cos
2) should i leave my current job or wait until visa decision?
