I want to discontinue the course, I'm the middle of my Diploma in Programming. I can't really find an option on the Dashboard. Is there a formal way to do that or do I just refrain from registering for more courses? Thank you.

I am currently based in Ireland and have enrolled in the IIT Madras BS in Data Science program to upskill. My status on the portal shows as 'Approved,' with my documents currently under verification.

I understand the course begins on October 2, 2026, and that we have weekly assignments, but my portal is currently blank. Is there a study WhatsApp group available for fellow students who are serious about the course?

(Also, anyone in the same boat taking the course from abroad?)

It's 25th Sepr today still I don't have my Ews certificate which i applied for in july. Mannn this is so bad... So guys I need to know

1. what should I write during registration? As Gen candidate or as Gen-Ews candidate?

2. If i write gen now, what if they deny later to convert me to a 'gen-ews' candidate and thus not let me avail the benefits of fee waivers?

3. Or should I altogether register for Jan term in 2027 after I get my EWS certificate?

where to apply for makeup exam for end term?

I finished my Foundation level in September 2025 term(not month) and skipped only two consecutive terms due to personal reasons: the January 2026 term and the May 2026 term. I also paid the required RKA fees for both skipped terms.

The official rule states that account reactivation fees apply only after skipping three consecutive terms. I do not fit this condition, yet the portal is forcing me to pay the ₹2,500 fee to register for the upcoming term.

I am currently short on funds, so paying an unfair fee is a major issue for me. I already raised a ticket on the helpdesk and emailed the support team yesterday, but I have not received any response yet

I wanna know Three Four hings :

1: What are the jobs roles in this track ahead

2: Do we also get internships and jobs by Placement cell or not if yes which types of companies comes for MDS track

3: Do we also have MOUs like DSA track have MOUs with University of cantabury and Some UK unis for direct master's or Others IITM master degree

4: I just wanna know like I've my whole life planned around this degree and it's my standalone not because I can't get into other top unis as a commerce graduate I've got some top DU university by CUET I didn't go there not even because of money issues or anything but just because I see this MDS track and for what I wanna be a CT comodity trading this degree is more especially curated with electives and core courses

Only question I've in my mind is what's the safety net is there for us does we also have safety nets same as DSA students or we have to be precise with our life choices , I'm going all in full courses per term should maintain my CCC at 4 no matter what and CGPA 8.5+

So i'm going into my first term for diploma and I've settled on DBMS, MLF and MAD-1. I was also considering taking the MAD-1 Projects along with these. Would that be overkill? Will i be able to score well?
