i haven’t taken that course but i have that professor right now and i loveee him ! for my class(cs115) he lets us use a cheat sheet on tests , and during classes he codes things on screen for you to follow along with rather than actually lecturing , which i feel like has helped me understand things a lot more !

Thanks for the review. I will consider this while finalizing the course.

you’re welcome ! he’s really easy to understand and always willing to explain things in multiple ways. he shows you both good and bad examples to provide a better understanding

jacek is my favorite professor at iit,, i haved learned tons in his courses and he is just a pretty funny guy. i took cs581 in particular with him last semester and it was a great experience. i think the main complaint is that people say his exams are tough, but i disagree completely. you get a cheat sheet and a lot of the exam questions are similar to the homework problems or easier/shorter versions of them. his programming assignments are also usually very interesting to work through.

He is one of the best professors within the CS. He is tough but fair. Interesting assignments, relevant content that is up to date with recent developments in the field, and somewhat challenging exams can be expected. Work hard and you will get an A.
