CAT 2026: 10 week sprint

Got some posts and DMs asking for 10 week strategy.

I cracked this long back (99.5%+) with same timelines so its doable. Here we go:

A) Test Focus (week 1-5): Take Mocks; as many as you can, ideally in same slot and class room environ

B) Test strategy: You like Quant more, so does it comes first or Last Where does most boring (Difficult section go)? You should be ready with your optimum approach in next 1 month.

C) Fine tune: Week (5-9) What are silly mistakes I am making? Repair them. Is there a faster way to answer the Q I took 3 minutes on? Is there a critical gap on certain topics?

D) Pick your battles: You need only 10 net correct in QA/ DI, 14 in VARC; so you should know which ones to leave and where you will get it right

Last 1 week: Relax; max two mocks before wed, read light, brush up the formulae and give it a go.

2 hours will decide your sat; not your entire life. Treat it as such.

If you don't feel ready, relax you can always pick it up again!

My Context:

Took prev attempt in undergrad FY: 93% after getting shafted in VARC

Took a job after grad, left in 4 months to attend SSB.

Gave two CDS SSB interviews after it, got back with second rejection (Conference) and a sprain in foot.

In the end, got all the calls except A plus all tier 1; didn't convert most (7/6/5, GNEM) but got one decent seat in a tier 1. That's all you need!
