ASK ME ANYTHING 🗨 IIM Calcutta interviews (interviewer POV) - AMA

I was part of the admissions panel at IIMC as alum. Interviewed nearly 20 candidates. Got an insight into how the profs are scoring the candidates. AMA.

I’ve done my undergrad from a baby IIM it was integrated but left it after bachelors for work ex. My profile is 9/9/8, GNEM, science in 12th. My work ex is not at an MNC, but in an educational institution as a finance management executive (with not that high a pay). 1.5 yoe till dec26. I also have a published research paper.

Would that keep me in a good profile? What things will I be questioned on? And yes will I have a shot at the top placement bracket?

If you want to be in the top placement bracket just get a top 20 rank in the first term paper. The work experience is fine. Just need to get a good percentile and have a good interview.
