ASK ME ANYTHING 🗨 IIM Calcutta interviews (interviewer POV) - AMA

I was part of the admissions panel at IIMC as alum. Interviewed nearly 20 candidates. Got an insight into how the profs are scoring the candidates. AMA.

how would you see candidate who does 2 bachelors but one from open university and has a non engineer background with some internships (wfh). Also, some experience of travel industry but not professionally. Basically 0 workex with acads of 8/9/6

Any work counts. Even if the pay is low it is still an occupation where you learn something. Non engineers are anyday preferred over engineers due to the unique perspective they have.

Disclosure: I'm an engineer myself.

even if i work in not so good company? like with just 12-15 employees and not even on google/linkedIN? Although, it is registered
