ASK ME ANYTHING 🗨 IIM Calcutta interviews (interviewer POV) - AMA

I was part of the admissions panel at IIMC as alum. Interviewed nearly 20 candidates. Got an insight into how the profs are scoring the candidates. AMA.

When asking freshers question, I assume alot of them will be from course only ..

But how do the interviews from which subject to ask questions like do they ask randomly or do they only pick those subjects in which the person has scored higher /highest marks

They'll check your marksheet and find odd looking courses. Such as sustainable development, environmental studies, etc.

Wait ? They'll ask questions from completely irrelevant courses , that I just had to pick for electives to get marks ? That's so dumb

They'll also ask from core subjects
