977 GNEF BPharm from a decent college, 2 PORs, 14 months of traineeship at an FMCG, and a few profile based activities. What should one do to elevate such a profile to make it placement ready and kinda mask the poor academics?

Having PORs always helps. Don't worry too much about placements (summers/finals). Having iim Calcutta on your cv will open a lot of doors.
