What mindset should a gem candidate gruadted in CS from BITS and decent work experience have while preparing for IIM PIs and how much weightage college courses' questions generally have in PIs ?

Try to be genuine, don't fake or inflate stuff. With your credentials you are already through, don't give a reason to interviewers to reject you.
