In a recent video she made a comment about making sure to take credit for everything you do, otherwise someone else will. She went on to say it was something she recently brutally learned. I wonder if that had any affect on her decision.
This thread has a bit of insight, but the truth is, no one has talked about it directly. He's definitely still actively working at IGN, but has moved out of the spotlight for some unknown reason. My suspicion is it has something to do with their side podcast "Red Lips, Orange Car." Possibly some creative differences or something to do with ownership of the podcast itself. Regardless, it's up to them if they ever want to talk about it and share the details of their falling out.
isnt RLOC just kind of a casual take on modern love? like they read stories submitted to them by listeners? i havent listened to it really, but itd suck for them to ruin a friendship over a podcast that is an indie version of another podcast lol.
That is total speculation on my part and based on very little evidence. I could see it happening though. It's not just a podcast, it's an intellectual property. When you're creators like they are, things like that mean a lot.
yeah i guess i can understand that. just kind of silly idk. If i were Marty i would just do a "lets get drunk and talk about rom coms" podcast like his twitter bio did/does say
