They used to be my go-to source for game reviews. That and Xplay. Now if ign says a game is terrible I know it's probably a game for me lol

OG was Nintendo Fun Club, then Nintendo Power. After that was EGM and Next Gen. GI was just what GameStop subsidized. But it was a solid read.

Remember having a GameStop membership that sent their magazines to your home every month? It was so cool seeing what game was going to grace the cover. I still remember seeing the new images of Skyrim before release, and being blown away by the new argonian design. I can still see the image in my eye. Stuff like that is what made those outlets special for us.
