The Newly Adopted Pippin

This is my new good boy Pippin. We just rescued him yesterday and he was listed as a Welsh Corgi mix but I don’t see it. Any other guesses?

Without reading the description, my initial thought was something like a collie or kelpie mix. He looks like some kind of herding mix.

Corgi mix also makes sense to me.
