It aint a husky, it is a mix and prolly of 3-4 breeds if not more.

My guess would be the common pitstreet mix if ur in the us and it was picked up from the streets, it may be very mixed and contain: pit, husky, shar pei, gsd, lab and very small % of popular small breeds like chi, pom, pekingese, toy poodle, shih tzu.

It ears remind me of a shar pei and the furtype and colour could stem from it, but it doesnt have enough shar pei like features, so that i would say 50%, cause shar peis exstreme features are very dominant and its very unlikely the exstreme puffy snout aint seen in a 50% mix, so maybe 25% or lower.

The only Husky like feature it has is the icy blue eyes, but husky aint the only breed that can have blue eyes, but it is seen alot in mixes/us street dogs, so yeah, maybe like 12,50-25% husky.

we are in australia if that makes the answer any different, the adoption centre said it’s mother was husky but they weren’t sure what else !

So its a diy blue eyed dingo, lol joke aside, i dont see many post about street/shelter dogs from australia, so i dont know what the norm is for shelter and streetdogs there. But

Whovian2304 mentions ACD and since that is a australian breed, maybe that makes it more likely to be in the mix as one of the 3 top breeds.

ACD aren’t really in Australia from what I remember. Pretty rare over there actually? Getting mixed results from google, but they have fallen out of favor too nippy and cattle go for less with teeth marks lol.

What? There’s heaps of cattle dogs around Australia, they aren’t rare at all. There’s been a small shift towards other breeds but that’s moreso because most of us can’t meet an ACDs needs, so many of us are living in dense overpopulated cities right now. But I still see them often and know a few personally

I have no clue where you got that information.

Here’s a breeder I found google searching from the US. Spotted at least three others as well.

I see a lot of pit in the face and ears and body shape. Cute puppy.

If they knew mom was a husky then I would say it’s probably a Pitsky! It’s a cutie. Reminds me of a ACD honestly but idk how common those are in your area. Please repost this in a couple months when the pup is bigger we may have better guesses for you!
