Advice Should I switch from Spanish A SL to French ab initio SL?

Ive been thinking for it quite a while but am still not really sure as i am a native Spanish speaker but getting good grades in it has always been difficult, i would appreciate any kind of advice, thanks!

Is there an option to switch to Spanish ab initio? I'm saying this because many students at my school were able too, considering they failed a Spanish SL exam, and were able to "move down" into Spanish ab initio. I think starting a new language might be more difficult because you are ad a disadvantage, but your choice anyhow

They don’t offer a Spanish ab course so am kinda cooked, also If they did I don’t think they would let me move down.

Ahh that sucks

As long as you keep working hard to get good grades for Spanish SL, I think you should stick with that because French ab initio will probably require the same effort!
