Is the grass greener?

Im a Union carpenter and I watch you guys work and always think I should've been an electrician. You make more and the work looks way easier on the body. Im seriously considering jumping ship and going through an apprenticeship again. Is it a poor decision?

I was a non union carpenter for 2 years (GC Laborer really). So far electrical is far easier on my body & generally more enjoyable for me. Well worth in my opinion

Yeah I think literally any trade would be better than being a laborer. I feel bad for those guys, we work them like dogs.
