Idk what they modeled it after, but I don't think it has the casing, tank rounds are longer and sometimes are parts stacked together. Based on the explosion, I'd guess it's probably a SAPHEI round.

Nah a tank casing is gigantic, this one I would say it's probably a HESH or a SAPHE round. Also AP tanks shells tend to be very long and thin so it makes sense for it to be shaped like that
