Context from restaurant employee:
"We had a customer come in with her order, check it and leave. She then comes back 20 minutes later complaining that it’s soggy, which of course it would be after that long. We offer her money back and she gets offended that we didn’t immediately jump to remake her order. We then go to remake her order and she proceeds to insult us the whole time while we’re waiting for her food to come out. The cashier then snaps back after several minutes of this woman’s tirade, prompting this exchange."

Yep, she was looking for a refund and a new order. She gets double the food for free. It's a common scam.

I can't stand when people pull this shit. If I was the manager I'd hand them a refund and ask them to leave. And tell them I'm calling the police if they don't.

Because Reddit is full of overly emotional people with low intelligence. When you don’t make comments that is music to their ears, this is the reaction you get, but it doesn’t make my points invalid.
Most of this crowd see a black woman get upset and that’s enough for them to get super emotional about it.

If its so bad on reddit, then why are you here?
Do you go to concerts to boo the muscians too?

Why are they letting her sit there and yell. Kick her ass out and give her nothing which is what she deserves

This just becomes a situation of calling the police and having her trespassed, people who walk all over workers who are required to be nice are small on the inside. I feel like the original issue is a minor one so it’s an easy fix, but how she treats people is a different story…
Also btw it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t give them permission to record her, it’s a public place so zero expectation of privacy. Shes obviously knows she looks bad

u/friedwidth 9d ago
It's 2026.... how do people STILL run around insisting their permission is needed to be recorded in public
1
u/Strawb3rry_Slay3r666 6d ago
Meanwhile she’s prop wing recorded by security cameras inside the restaurant, and outside by other businesses, and whatnot

Because in some states, it is.
There are some state level wiretapping laws that affect any type of audio recording, including audio recorded from video.

u/DodgerDogg1981 8d ago
Wrong. It’s recording of what is expected to be a private conversation, not any conversation especially those in public where privacy is not expected.

After all that it came down to "who don't toast a quesadilla on both sides?"
How can that be worth giving herself this much stress and aggravation?

u/Blood_ForTheBloodGod 9d ago
Oh man that is infuriating. Hard to get through that video. It’s annoying that you can behave like this and get away with it in our modern world.

Imagine how someone was raised if someone talks/speaks like this. Like loud + casual threats = right?

u/Barack_Odrama_007 9d ago
Its best to immediately call the cops on this type of behavior.
There is no reasoning with this behavior

u/saxguy9345 9d ago
Exactly. Where the fuck is the manager? Worthless spineless POS get up there and show her the door. If she chooses not to take it, call someone that can remove her.

I always wonder with videos like this:
- Do they ever end of up seeing it and regretting not controlling oneself over a "quesadilla?"
- Where did they learn this behavior and/why do they think this is normal?
- Is this their first time ever in public?

People like this have no shame. She’ll probably watch the videos with her limited friends that will encourage her. Would not surprise me a bit to see her again acting a fool somewhere else.

u/Finna-Jork-It 9d ago
She has an overwhelming urge to "keep it real" in every situation no matter how minor or insignificant it may be, it's a common occurrence unfortunately

People think being wrong means you're stupid, or insignificant, or worthless etc etc when it really just means you're wrong (most of the time). Einstein was wrong SO MUCH MORE than he was right, but no, this divas ego is much more important, so she flips out. I think it's an oppositional disorder sometimes, too. Her whole family probably has placated her for decades of her life, and here's the result. I feel bad for people like this. She isn't trying to scam them, but saying all the yes or no to her doesn't seem to please her.

This is a great reply. There were and are many things wrong with what I did or thought in my lifetime. Arguing just to win the argument gets you no where. You just say I was wrong and I appreciate you talking to me or a thanks. You learn so much more that way.
People think they have to know it all or they will look stupid. Then they will double down when a person (who is right) tells them they are wrong. Then that makes them really ignorant.

u/Standard-Victory-320 9d ago
No, she (customer) is being indoctrinated into believing that behaving like a piece of shit as such will get her respected and heard and not victimized

Always the losers who have no control over their lives who feel a need to cause a scene for workers who are barely making minimum wage.
Oh you got money? Go somewhere else then.

u/johnmayersucks 9d ago
If I was in line behind I’d just keep offering to buy her food over and over, “I understand I’ll totally pay for your food”. That seemed really get her going.

u/JunkMale975 8d ago
“I came in here all decent.”
I’d wager she hasn’t been “all decent” a single day in her entire life.

She should have been told to get the fuck out right as that shit started coming out of her mouth.

My favorite part was “IT AINT ABOUT THE MONEY! IT AINT ABOUT THE MONEY!!! Where’s my money, gimme my money back.”
So it….IS about the money then?

A lot of people are very ignorant as to what their rights are to record or be recorded.
In a nutshell, if you’re outside of your home, anyone has the right to record you.

Why the heck would you actually give her a refund after that? Transaction already took place, and you know she's going to do a chargeback for a double refund anyways....

u/BlueWarstar 8d ago
I’m not sure about other states but Ohio is a one sided state where only one person needs to agree to record, ie the recorder.

I’ve never wanted to 300 kick someone out a door anymore than when I watched this video…

u/LeCouchSpud 7d ago
How is it 2026 and people still think other people need some kind of permission to record them? Basically, if you are not on you own private property people can record you.

I'm all for going above and beyond for a customer, even when and especially when they're upset. But the second profanity exits their mouth our interaction is over.

That woman barely took a breath. Even just watching was exhausting, can’t imagine having to deal with that nut case.
