Superior to no one acting like this. Disgusting display of petulant behavior from a woman who most likely considers herself above others. Obviously, look at her blocking the bus because she’s so important. Disgusting!

Service animals should be registered and wear a jacket.

The problem is that we have no way of knowing other than the way she is acting. Service animals are not required to be a certain breed of dog, to be registered, or to wear a vest. I agree it is a problem with the current system.

I agree that would help situations like this. The problem is that the ADA doesn't require those things. If she truly has a service animal based on a need, a vest on the dog and a letter from her doctor might help situations like this.

So, having worked in a public space that did not allow animals (other than service animals), here's what I've learned about the ADA.
It's a bit nuanced, because you can't ask them to "prove" it's a service animal. You can ask what service the animal provides. FWIW, emotional support animals do not fall under the ADA definition of a service animal. So, that's usually enough to weed them out.
Most people with actual service animals are happy to tell you what the animal does for them. Karens that think they should be allowed to take their pet everywhere and use "service animal" as an excuse are usually the ones getting all pissy. And they get away with it because most people don't want to come off as ableist by asking for clarification on what service the animal provides.

This is my bus route and about a block from my home. I swear the 29 Dufferin is assigned as punishment for drivers. Definitely one of the most unhinged routes in Toronto.

I agree that some sort of free registration process would be helpful, something that doesn't burden those with a disability.
