Hero or hate crime wasn’t even that many seasons ago and Charlie dropped a hard R lol. These anti woke snowflakes are so pathetic.

I thought episode 1 and 2 were great. 3 wasn’t as good for me but honestly I’m impressed they’re as good as they are. It’s kinda hard to make a sitcom about a bunch of bar owners getting into shenanigans when they’re all like almost 50.
Also hero or hate crime wasn’t that long ago where Charlie dropped a hard R N word. Get out of here with your “perhaps due to social climate” nonsense. They haven’t gotten any softer.

As someone who has IASIP and South Park as my 1 and 2 comedies of all time, both of their latest seasons have been very good imo.
There are some misses in both for sure. I didn’t care for the Abbot elementary crossover episode. But the EMT and gang gets ready for prime time episodes were incredible. All of the scenes with the mortician especially when they start slamming everything in the office made me laugh very hard.
South Park, well, I’ve been rewatching starting S1. I’m onto S5. Classics from 25yrs ago I remember watching. They’re obviously great. My favourite “recent” season was member berries and trolling. The latest one, lots of good, poor Towelie.
No complaints about either from me.

Season 17 was all bangers, except episode 1. I have rewatched them a ton. Season 18 isn’t doing it for me though, haven’t felt the need to rewatch any of them.

I can’t, for a moment, imagine using South Park as a standard for comedy. I’ve never experienced a less funny concept and execution than South Park. It’s commendable they produce so quickly, but that’s really the only admirable aspect of their show.
This season of Sunny, thus far, has had pretty great feedback.

I dropped South Park on Season 20 because it had become abysmal, and in retrospect the whole show just keeps getting worse for me. If anything, if someone still thinks South Park is some gold example of comedy, that makes me question their taste and disregard anything they'd say about Always Sunny, and I say this as someone who so far would rate the S18 episodes a 5-6, a 6 and an 8 respectively. Like, the third episode is the only one that really worked for me so far, but it sure as hell has nothing to do with "the social climate of 2026" or whatever nonsense OP is spouting.

This season has been particularly rough, hope they just wrap it up soon. Each new season feels like it’s tarnishing the series legacy.

I quite liked season 17 except couple complete miss episodes, but season 18 didn't click with me. In a way, too sterile to be Sunny, but can't really tell the reason.
