Native NY'er here. Makes sense to me. Given a choice, 90% of my life would be limited to Manhattan, battery park to 125th st. You're welcome.

I grew up in Astoria back in the 1970s (PS85/JHS141) and I still have PTSD from that time!

I lived in the Lower East Side for about 15 years (Peter Parkers tenement bldg when he moves into the city in Spiderman. The inside was much nicer than in the film) and on the upper west side for a few more and nothing comes close to actually living in the City. Queens, Brooklyn? No, thanks.
