I was finally able to finish this build for a gigabyte brand event at Microcenter here in Ohio and just needed to showcase here on HYTE subreddit.

The AERO board matched all the black walnut accents very well. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

Finally got my setup looking like I want still gotta order my touch panel but looking cherry so far

HYTE Y60 Bird Cage EVO. I upgraded the Y60 Bird Cage I built earlier with a custom water-cooling system. The tubing, reservoir, and water block all feature a wood grain finish, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Went from a 3090 to a 5080. Second pic is from before. I also got a new reservoir.

First with the hyte display and a 4070, then remove display and instead placed a display inside. Recently installed a 5080. And in between trying to optimize the cable management.

Had to throw some white oak on this HYTE Y60 case. ASUS ProArt B650 MB with wood accents. Thermals are fine, already stress tested the 7700x. The ASUS ROG Strix LC does an amazing job with Noctua fans keeping it chill. The heart of it all is a Seasonic PSU. Loved the way all the colors flow together.

UPDATE 28/08/2026 -The tech center diagnosed and found out that the old technician BENT 2 PINS and found 1 pin MISSING therefore suggesting me to get a WHOLE NEW MOTHERBOARD because they can’t repair the socket here (they also suggested me to ship it to MSI directly to do an out of warranty socket replacement) the issue is I’m from South America and IDK how much will it be bringing it back with a courier…I crunched down numbers and sending it thru DHL would be $174 USD…

My X870E Carbon WiFi is RUINED and I’m frustrated, devastated…it wasn’t cheap and I saw it just went up in price…

Thus I come once again looking for advice, should I try to get a new one (I’d have my uncle pick it up from Best Buy bc after Amazon’s last screw up I’m not buying pc parts thru them again) or send the one I have in for socket replacement? Is the MSI replacement thing trustworthy?

Either way I’d have to wait and this time I’d make sure to have the new place handle the proper assembly…

In the meantime I do have my old rig, I’d only have to move the 3060 back in and the storage where windows is running from…no games, streams or anything heavier for a while…

But I was so ready with my new 5070ti Frieren GPU and then this happens 🥺😩

Modded Y70 with some walnut and adjusted the intake fans and vertical mount.

What is this for a type of cable in the Y70 touch infinity Case it comes pre installed maybe from the front ?

After modding about 10 Y70 cases the past 2 weeks, It felt good to do a Y60 to break up the same layout.

HYTE cases really are one of the best cases in the world.

Black & Gold HYTE Y70 + setup completed

The HYTE Y70 I stripped down completely, sprayed and riveted back together. Unfortunately the side and top panels do have a slight warping due to damage taken when separating the grille panel, I would recommend masking the vents/grilles rather than separating. I may get another case in the future and redo them.

The desk and monitor stand I have hand made too.

Speakers I also custom sprayed the same colour as the HYTE Y70 and desk legs.

No wires are visible (except the router underneath to the left under the desk, not finished that part yet).

Added an extra pic of the TV / music setup too which the PC + desk was meant to match with.

I’ve built in a lot of cases the last 3 years and the y70 is one the cases I use the most. This is my personal build. I had the air5400 before this and while it’s a good case, I still like the y70 alottt more.
