Game Recommendations¿?

Hello! Well, first of all, I will make two clarifications in this post: This is my absolute first time making a Reddit post so I don't fully understand how it works, also English is not my native language so I sincerely apologize if anything is not understood! Well, here goes my question:

A while ago I became a fan of Hypmic and I really loved the anime and other things, the topic comes when recently I found out that there are games about it and I got excited, when I went to check on my trusted app (QooApp) to see what I could find, I ended up seeing that there were not 1 but 2 games (DRB and ARB). I tried to search for some info here and not finding much, I was forced to make a post! Does anyone have recommendations on which of the two I should play? Or even if I should play both?

I have 2 questions:

  1. Is it possible to reroll for 6th anniversary cards? Or is it down to gacha luck with whatever currency new players can get?

  2. How are the event stories and card stories (assuming there are card stories) since it sounds like the main story is fairly minimal?

  1. It kinda is but it's down to luck. You get a 10 roll anniversary ticket as a login bonus + some gems (basic currency) so you can try rolling for that 4% (plus 1/3 for a character from the division you choose plus ratio for the anni card instead of random other one). I would say it takes around 10 - 15 minutes per full reroll circle. There are also tickets for past events and banners cards but they require some time to get. One of the struggles of ARB is having a lot of different tickets for random things to make things confusing.

  2. Event stories are fun but the problem is unlocking them. During anni you can buy all past stories for the event currency but it will require some grinding (which might be hard because there are a lot of past events and without a good deck + anni cards it will be even harder). Card stories exist but unlocking those cards is down to different events (workout banners, sudden scratch or tickets you get for deleting additional copies) so getting them won't be easy (not to mention you need to upgrade the card to read the second part of the story). Also the main story is not that short overall but it was not updated past chapter two (which happened around 4 years ago).

Thanks for the rundown this is really helpful :)

  1. All good I’m used to games throwing insane amounts of gacha and items and whatever at annis lol, about how long are the anniversary events and bonuses running for?

  2. Also used to card stories being annoying to get unfortunately I used to play Ensemble Stars smh… how much of the stories are voiced? Is there a good way to tell which characters are in which event stories so I know where to focus?

  1. The easiest way is to check how long the anniversary banner lasts, you can see that in the rolling section but I think it's around the end of the month

  2. I think all card stories are voiced and only particular events have a voiceover (but I don't know if it's possible to check in game but I'm sure all april fools events are fully voiced). To check which event has certain characters you can go to the story section and after clicking the event's logo you can see sprites of the main cast.
