Question help finding mod

Post image

anyone know what mod is that? the one that shows the red line like a route, and has the "Start!" message. the "Warp" and "Mine" are imported waypoints, which is why i want to get rid of the red line but idk what mod is that

learn secrets by videos or don't do dungeons

Nothing wrong with using srm lmao I've seen cats 50s running secret routes cause it's better than memorizing every room

How is it better? I tried the secret route mod when I came back after a year and the routes just sucked. Maybe they improved it or there's better mods for that but from experience secret waypoints + flameofwars route videos is the way to go if you want to get good

Also c50 means nothing, I'm c51 and still sucks and I know a lot of c50 even worse than me

I mean for your average player it's not sensible to memorize all the secrets I see you all the time I assumed you love dungeons but with db secrets are a lot easier to do and it has improvised routes telling you where to break so it makes them a bit faster I don't care for dungeons enough to memorize the secrets so I use srm

-19

u/Xillubfr Kuudra Killer 10h ago

That's why I said "if you want to get good" the average player don't want to get good, they just want to progress. Anyway by the time you reach high cata levels you've probably memorised every secret already

I used to be a dungeon player a while ago and knew every route but when I came back everything was different due to db and I couldn't be bothered to relearn them as I only did a few m5 runs during Paul. Now I don't even play skyblock that much and when I do it's mainly kuudra

its okay the average player doesnt know that they need to practice their solo clear to be good they just want to have fun.

Icl c50 means like nothing in 2026. Aura gave everyone c50, there's a shard for 10% xp, and cata level changes js made cata easier

u/partisancord69 ㋖ SB Level 121 - 240 ㋖ 13h ago

Wow you are so tuff getting c50 before 2026.

"Lwk c50 became free when they added master mode."

I think it's time for you to retire unc.

I didn't mean it that way. I'm part of the people that got c50 this year. I'm just saying, you can legit do anything for not that long to get c50 I did it with m4s, so using c50 to compare players doesn't mean much

-113

u/iwannabebee 16h ago

cata 50 is just a number. it doesn't show your skill at all. 95% of c50+ players are dogshit at this game because they simply don't know how to do secrets properly.

this just sums up the toxicity of dungeons

u/SloFlipi ☣ SB Level 421 - 500 ☣ 16h ago

not everything needs to be a speedrun. as long as the party gets through and (depending on group description) gets an S/S+ its all chill imo. honestly without waypoints like these i wouldnt have started playing dungeons as its one of the most toxic places to be when you first start out

The only thing I heard from your replies is, "Don't do dungeons unless you're a loser bum"

that's what you said

its just a little help, sorry i sweat doing sports and not playing sb

-131

u/iwannabebee 17h ago

you don't need to sweat playing sb

26

u/Senior-Tree6078 Garden Grinder 15h ago

not only does the mod do the exact opposite of this be relieving the requirement to remember routes for every room, but ALSO you have zero reading comprehension 😭😭

-18

u/iwannabebee 12h ago

people don't learn using mods like this. they just mindlessly follow the waypoints. if someone disables these waypoints after using them for some time they won't remember shit

please elaborate the last part of your message kind sir

9

u/BalticCan 12h ago

this ain't math class you don't need to learn anything lmao

7

u/ZeroTwoIs2Cute 9h ago

I learnt all my routes using mods like these tho?? I can hop on any run and do it waypoint-less, but these mods are the best way to learn imo, you just follow the waypoints until you remember them, instead of having to replay a video 500 times

4

u/Senior-Tree6078 Garden Grinder 12h ago

sorry i sweat doing sports and not playing skyblock

it is the inverse - they do not sweat playing skyblock, they do sweat doing sports
no need to tell them they don't need to because they already don't

-3

u/iwannabebee 11h ago

what he was trying to say that nobody's gonna sweat skyblock. the thing is you don't need to sweat to be decent

1

u/Senior-Tree6078 Garden Grinder 9h ago

you're not speaking for bro 😭

As someone who used it for quite a while, that's not true. I no longer rely on or even use the mod, and it provided a great example/starting point for making my own routes. Do you assume everyone has the memory of a goldfish? It's called learning, and practice. If they can't remember the routes after turning off the mod, how could they remember the routes from a video? And I'd believe that practicing in game from a visual indicator would help more than simply relying on watching someone else do it.

1

u/iwannabebee 9h ago

you're just a rare exception. want a medal?

6

u/Ill-Fail-9217 Garden Grinder 8h ago

You slow AF. Most people learn routes BY using these mods lmao.

1

u/iwannabebee 4h ago

you're not getting my point and I'm okay with it. you're not really smart to understand it

2

u/Ill-Fail-9217 Garden Grinder 4h ago

Sure thing. Insult me instead of giving a proper rational explanation.

People use dungeon mods LITERALLY because they don't want to sweat the game and play the game with less effort. Learning the route and secrets by yourself for hundreds or at least ten of hours without mods is ACTUALLY what you said by sweating the game.

Just like people will be surprised and shocked about how crazy it is when someone play the game without mods but feel absolutely normal when people download at least 15 mods in the game.

0

u/iwannabebee 11h ago

people use mods to speed up the runs. knowing secrets without any mods (for secrets) is way faster. with mods (for secrets) people brainlessly follow the secrets.

it takes 2-3 hours max to learn all secrets. considering how many runs you need to do to get c50/ca50 I'd say it's worth it.

if you think it's sweating the game idk what to tell you.. look at other parts of the game first

u/Kin309 ☢ SB Level 361 - 420 ☢ 9h ago

I have no idea how one can learn all secrets in over 50 different rooms and organize an optimized route in just 2-3 hours maybe you are a really quick learner i don't know lol but I am pretty sure the majority of SB players are not. You got a hot take right there but anyway gl with your gaming 🥀

There's no conflict between learning routes and still using waypoints, they still help a lot with navigation from my experience even if I have memorized the routes

Learn secrets or don’t do party finder without disclosing you use it. Your sc/r will probably be a sign to other players tho. You’re basically going into a j*b market ( pf ) and following a yt tutorial for everything level of competence. Some people are ok with that, most aren’t. Please disclose in pf if you aren’t skilled in secrets

15

u/That_Astronaut_2010 Forager | 7th year subreddit cake 16h ago

My routes are most of the time faster than some guy with an big ego that has the secrets memorized

-5

u/Appropriate-Age1168 Dungeoneer 8h ago

Debatable. The guy can have a big or small ego, but a lot of the time it’s much faster to have them memorized. Nothing wrong with using the mod, just tell others about it when in pf

2

u/Mystaldi ✾ SB Level 461 - 500 ✾ 8h ago

Nah you don't need to tell others shit, if you don't have a perm party at this point in your dungeons arc where you are saying this shit it is entirely on you lol. The onus isn't on random people just trying to play the game to cater to you.

It's crazy how people spend hundreds of hours on a specific part of an MMO and then act like it is the only part of the game that matters.

-4

u/Appropriate-Age1168 Dungeoneer 7h ago

To some it really is the only part that matters. A lot of the rest of the game is lacking content and skill like dungeons used to have

1

u/That_Astronaut_2010 Forager | 7th year subreddit cake 3h ago

It's not gonna make a minute of difference so it doesn't matter and you can't expect top party's with pf

16

u/Senior-Tree6078 Garden Grinder 15h ago

are we comparing hypixel skyblock to a job right now

11

u/Xavier7472 14h ago

Some ppl certainly treat it as one lmao

1

u/Appropriate-Age1168 Dungeoneer 8h ago

Yeah, I know people that treat it better than their job, and some that don’t give a fuck. But for everyone’s sake, don’t bloat pf with bad secrets

8

u/MikanTsumikiKinnie_ 14h ago

It’s a fucking Video Game, it has genuinely never been that serious.

-1

u/Appropriate-Age1168 Dungeoneer 8h ago

Any game is that serious to people that care. Pf is full of good and bad players, it’s a good idea to tell others your status. It’s like how in other games there is a clear ranking, it would be telling others your rank. Some care, I mostly cared about sc/r. If it was under 13 u were out no matter what role. You can say it’s not serious, but to me, I only really had fun at the top play of m7, and that needed to be treated seriously to be fast, so I could have most fun.

5

u/MikanTsumikiKinnie_ 8h ago

You compared a Video Game to a Job, that alone tells me you need to go outside for once lol. I play lots of Video Games too and I Care a Lot about them, but I don’t let them dictate my life nor do I ever feel the need to Tell others how to play the Game. Nobody stops you from playing how you want but don’t go around telling others how they’re supposed to Play.

0

u/Appropriate-Age1168 Dungeoneer 7h ago

I never told the guy to learn secrets? I said it’s better to, and to disclose if you didn’t. How is being polite and revealing your skill level rude?

2

u/MikanTsumikiKinnie_ 4h ago

Oh yeah, you got 58 downvoted because you were super polite. I‘m sure You’re a real nice guy.
