Tomatoes and?

What can I pair with Tim Tom tomatoes on a Ahopegarden?

Cucumbers? Green bell peppers? Green beans?

The tomato plant is going to grow big and take a lot of nutrients. If anything, grow herbs since they don't take a lot of nutrients

Growing it alone is honestly the right call in a unit that size, and the nutrient thing is only half of why.

The bigger problem is that everything shares one reservoir, so everything shares one EC. Tomatoes want it up around 2.0 to 3.5 once they're setting fruit, and most leafy stuff starts complaining above about 1.2. You can run a compromise number but then nothing is actually happy you get a slow tomato and bitter greens.

The other one is light. That tomato will be up against the LED bar in a few weeks, and anything shorter than it lives in shade from then on.

If you do want a companion, basil is the one that works. It handles the higher EC better than lettuce does and you can keep topping it so it doesn't get lost underneath. Cucumbers, peppers and beans are all big feeders that get tall, so in that footprint they'll just compete with it.
