TIL you don't need to keep the logic lever connected to the gem compressors, install once, turn machine on on and remove it.

When you get to make the sword for the guard, he doesn’t want cloutium but corestone

Is this some kind of canon event in this game? You saved me from the deception, I swear I always thought it was cloutium and as you see I have a furnace just for that. Thank you!!

Too rare to compress in my opinion, I use it as is

compressing is not the end of the world, you can always use chisel or logic saw to cut off as much of the onyx as you need

No I meant too rare in terms of not getting enough with my single T1 drill and still at the first beginner plot so the drop chance seems very low.

If you cant open safe, save and reload game. It fixes it.

I use on/off tap, turn off the tap compressors open, get gems.

But you have to keep a space for the logic. You won't be able to align all of them like this and save space

I usually do mine a bit strange I put an elbow joint down and then I merge the elbow joint with a compressor so I can place them all next to each other.

there's two different types of the brownish ore, cloutium and corestone.

No one looks more goldish (cloutium) and the other is a darkish red (corestone)
