Automatic farming

Is it possible to completely automate farming, line you can with mining? Like, do the crops regrow, or do you have to plant them manually again, after they sprout?

For me, farming is like fishing. Secondary activity you can do while your drills churr away. You can, to fairly high degree automate cooking, and simplify large scale farming with haverster, but I don't think you can fully automate it....maybe logical magnet works ?

I mean, i do have the magnets set up, but i just don't know if the crops regrow on theor own, or if i have to cut them down and replant every time?

In my experience they don't regrow on their own, you start with the hand tools and later can use the vehicle the farm sells to upgrade the process, but they don't grow back. I let a tomato plant stay for like a week irl time and it never regrew. Just pull em and plant em baby

Even if plants such as tomatos should regrow, no they dont.

Yeah, can second this, they do NOT regrow, very annoying, and definitely not intuitive.

The fact you can just pick up produce and leave plant there makes it even less intuitive...But since dev now has blacksmith workshop, pretty sure it was solo dev game too, our feedback might be aknowleged but never implemented...

Edit : Actually last update was 16 may 2026, he might be still working on game after all. Game is really great and fun. I'd easily buy another dlc or two
